RedStorm Entertainment has brought another first person shooter taking the action from close quarters battles into the realm of long-range modern infantry warfare. It is the best Tom Clancy game to date, and featured multiple strategies for playing, ranging from stealth to guns-blazing. The online play was phenomenal and free of lag; and can still be played.
This PC video game has what we know as real timing. It is based upon the public signing of the Canadian-American-Mexican agreement to control immigration, terrorism and drug movement.
But during the act, Mexican soldiers attack the three leaders. The Ghosts are ordered to meet up with Secret Service agents protecting the U.S. president and ensure his safety until he is extracted. While the U.S. president is en route to the airport, the Ghosts secure the Mexican president. Thanks to the Ghosts actions, the Mexican president will "green light" U.S. intervention on Mexican soil in order to bring back democracy. Where is the action? It comes after too much waiting for the U.S. President, who's never reached the airport, being trapped by the enemies... Imagine the turnmoil coming next.
The command interface is user friendly. The Missions are dynamic so you can decide the best way to handle a group of bad guys, either hit them head on, outflank them and hit them the sides. The maps are quite large enough to give you plenty of options, but don’t stay too far from the main conflict or you might become a deserter.
The sound effects are great. Gunfire, tanks, jets, helicopters, jets flying overhead, every single sound is awesome. The voice-overs were convincing and the storyline believable.
