MotorStorm is an off-road racer developed by Evolution Studios and published by SCEA for the PS3 console system. It combines the high-def power of blu-ray thecnology to give the player a first-person experience.
The game lets you choose from a number of different vehicle types, from trucks to motorcycles, dune buggies to 18-wheelers, and each has its own strengths and weaknesses. Each of which have their own strengths and weaknesses. For example, motorcycles are very quick and agile, but can't stand toe-to-toe with bigger rides and slide in the mud like a hound dog on ice.
The videogame can be great for a first-person action seeker, but there is an alternative for those who don't mind to swap between first and third-person views depending upon which vehicle you're in.
Whether you are in a motorcycle, rally car or a buggy, MotorStorm also makes the PS3 engaging, because of just how brutal the crashes can look, or how imposing the other vehicles can appear when you're racing tire-to-tire.
And if you thought of powering with the turbo, you can only boost for so long or you will overheat and explode. Ok, exploding and being propelled across the finish line is a nifty bit of imagery, but if you come up short, then there is dismay as much of the field can pass you up before your vehicle is reset.
Each course of the videogame racing features a number of different pathways that you can take, with the quicker, higher routes geared for bikes and ATVs more risky than the ground-level paths straight through the mud.
