Open Season is an action adventure in the great outdoors, where rowdy forest animals turns the tables on unsuspecting hunters, how does it feel, eh? Video game developer Ubisoft planted on the Xbox 360 video game platform the seed of funny rebelion.
Adventure Video game Open Season is based on the Sony Pictures Animation's CG animated film of the same name. Xbox 360 Open Season video game shows a domesticated grizzly named Boog leaves the creature comforts of home with a mule deer named Elliot, he finds himself lost in the woods just three days before hunting season. Forced to "rough it" in the great outdoors, Boog goes native, rallying all the forest animals to take back their home and send the hunters packing.
You must get close enough to a hunter and taunt him by waving your rear-end and shouting at him to get his attention, he'll sort of lose his head and then he will run after you, and if he catche's you it will be game over. The idea here, of course, is to not being caught, but to lure the hunter into a bear tramp or a campers fire.
As this happens, Elliot has many missions where he must stand guard and be played from a first person viewpoint; some of the missions are too hilarious, like the one a large pink bra and a piky hedgehog is involved.
Graphics
The video game hardly makes it to be as good as it could do due to the likely fact that it is a spruced up Xbox or PC port. Make no mistake, we are saying that in the Xbox 360 the video game bares to look as great as in the others platforms. For example, few things like fur and water looks cool and genuine but everything else looks rather bland to the grass to the leaves on the trees.
Sound
It sounds like it doesn't matter that cool Ashton Kutcher and Martin Lawrence where hilarious with the characters of Boog and Elliot, because it their voicing are highly criticized as bad as it was a last minute recording for the Xbox 360 video game, in comparison with the other actor's voices.
