Activision regularly develops funny and wild adventures for video game kids, those who still are in a stage of punching and hitting objets, and their parents are more thankfull with it because all the hyperactivity Over the Hedge will be relieved on the marvelous Xbox.
The story of the game centers on woodland creatures who wake up from hibernation to find their home encroached by suburbia. The good part of this videogame story is that there are alternatives to feed themselves, but nothing will be so easy as a human woman wants the funny creatures out of the land.
Xbox's Over the Hedge videogame is based on a Dreamworks motion picture with the same title, and videogame publisher Activision has taken its characters to target young players.
The cast of characters includes RJ the Raccoon, Hammy the Squirrel (the over-caffeinated rodent), Verne the Turtle, Stella the Skunk, the human Gladys, Dwayne, and Vincent (a grumpy bear who starts off as a nemesis). Each of the playable characters has unique abilities that can be used to work through the levels.
The gameplay controls are tight, and the load times are not too long. About its graphics, the rapid play style and fixed camera can create a little confusion at times. But still, the sense of the camera including the players is a nice touch. The sound takes a comical line carries some solid and zany tongue-in-cheek dialogue.
Over the Hedge fun video game can be played with your Xbox, PC, GBA, PS2, and Nintendo DS.
