RAYMAN RAVING RABBIDS
Monday Jan 22, 2007.

Raving Rabbids franchise launching was a success alongside the Wii, simply because it combined its hilariously strange characters into a highly playable video game. Though, not very so is the PC version of the video game.

Resulting in a change in all the motion-sensing controls being replaced by keyboard-and-mouse controls or analog stick movements- if that is your case -. The PC video game is more conventional series of minigames that still succeeds in spite of the control shift, due almost entirely to the still-hilarious personality of those nasty rabbids. The problem with this video game is that it was designed for Nintendo Wii, and Ubisoft ported this version poorly to the PC.

By no means that states that the PC controls are bad, but they really aren't as engaging as the PS2 ones. For instance, in the dancing minigame, simply alternating button presses makes the game really easy, even on the harder difficulty levels. However, on the plus side, the keyboard and mouse controls are markedly better than the analog stick controls found in the PS 2 version of Raving Rabbids.

The gameplay of PC's Rayman Raving Rabbids video game is that you, as the principal character Rayman, are imprisoned after bad dudes belonging to the Rabbids clan caught you without a reason. For Rayman to find freedom, you must start quest of completing a series of five tasks per day, just like if you were playing on a gladiator style arena.

There is no oportunity in this video game to not finish the task per day, otherwise your progress will not be saved. In this video game you must complete a task each day, fully; not half now and half then. Also, you cannot play any of the mini games in multiplayer until you have beaten the game in the Story mode. While this can be frustrating at first, it gives you incentive to beat the Story mode.

The graphics are pretty good, but I couldn't get the game to run well on "Very Detailed" mode, which is strange because I have a top of the line Alienware system that should be able to run that mode.
